    If you have a little carpenter experience and the time I would say it's better to build one. It will cost a little less and you can design it to your own specifications, then later tell people "I built that". I built a sturdy 12'x12'X10 metal sided shed for a little under $700 excluding my labor and generally enjoyed doing it. Keep in mind that you have a day long assembly process with most "bought" sheds anyway, plus you still have to build a pad or lay a foundation for them.

    I don't know Rick...I just opted to buy a nice metal 8x10 shed that was around 400.00. It took two guys 2.5 days but there's no way I could have made it look as nice if I would have built it from scratch nor been close to the price of 400...
