How do people buy real estate with little or no cash down?
I've heard people advertising about this, but always suspected there was a catch somewhere and it was too good to be true. What evidence is there that this works and how is it managed?
It's called FHA loans.
About 10 years ago we got our house like that with no down payments and with a low paying job.
I've always been very sceptical over this too. I know for a fact that if you attempt to borrow more than the property is worth without the knowledge of the morgage company, it's fraud. The mortgage company are more than likely going to throw the book at you.
