You can use compost for your flower and/or vegetable garden. Just make sure to mix it good with the dirt, and mix it often. Also, you can use compost under trees like in an orchard.
Mix your compost with your soil before doing your seasonal planting. You can also mix your compost with your mulch around trees and in garden beds. When watered in, it adds nutrients. If ground up properly, compost can be put in a spreader to fertilize your lawn. You'll be saving money on fertilizers and helping mother earth. Also, worms eat compost, and they poop nutrients from the compost. It is called worm castings. Their poop is loaded with nutrients. It is usually found at the bottom of compost piles. It is a deep, rich black color, and very moist. It is also odorless. You can also purchase worm castings, relatively cheap from bait farms. They raise worms and sell them for bait. They have so much poop, they don't know what to do with it! By the way, thank you for caring about our earth.
