How do you decide if it would be cheaper to remodel your home or just move?
The simple answer is counting and estimating. You should make a list of the repairs you need made in order to be happy in your current home. Get estimates for completing the work on the list. Once you have completed that, take a look at the numbers for selling your current property and buying a new one. You need to count the inspection, potential repairs to the new property, and moving cost. If you do these two thoroughly you should have a good idea if which one is better for you financially.
