    The most unusual one I have blooms every few years.  It is the puya from Chile. The blooms are teal blue-green in color w/ orange stamens. It looks almost alien in the garden!

      It blooms in April, so I may need to dig in my photo archives! I promise I'll write about it and have pictures of that stunning bloom!

    I planted wormwood as a pest repellent --so far I haven't tried making absinthe from it!

      Absinthe the intoxicating green fairy and now I know it can be used as a pest repellent.  I may be scared to drink it.
