Did you plant a garden this year?
If so, what did you plant and how is it doing?
Not yet, my husband and I have had some health issues. And the weather here has been terrible. Still very cold at night.
My garden has been planted and already I have lettuce to be picked. I planted garlic last October and that will be ready sometime in July which is a good thing because I am almost out from last year's harvest. I have also planted red/white onions, gourmet and artisan lettuces, cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, zucchini, basil, chives, parsley and beans. I love watching my plants grow and mature in my organic garden. I do not use any chemicals either, so I know first hand my crop is free of pesticides.
Wow! That's a great garden! I wanted to to garlic this year but haven't yet. I do what to try it soon because we use a lot of fresh garlic.
I live in the northeastern United States and we plant garlic in mid October and usually harvest it in July.

What invasive plant do you fight in your garden? It seems like all gardeners have one-- that plant they planted and then wished that they hadn't. What plant is trying to take over your garden?
