Can you plant fruit/nut trees where oleanders were?Everyone knows that oleander leaves are poisonous but what about planting a tree that will provide food where an oleander was? Will the soil somehow be contaminated from the oleander being there?
Although all parts of oleander are toxic, there is no scientific evidence that edible crops planted in these areas would take up any of the toxic alkaloids left in residuals. Yes, it should be safe there, even for growing veggies.
