Is eating prickly pear good for you?
While in Mexico I noticed that many people eat prickly pear or "nopalitos." Is this plant good for you, and if so, why don't more people in North America eat it?
It's a "novelty" item in the states I'm assuming, but from what I understand it is a wonder for those with diabetes.
