Can Apache thornless Blackberry bush grow in partial shade?

I just bought a blackberry bush at lowes the other day, only $2! It was kind of an impulse buy and I was wondering where to plant it.  I have one spot in mind but it gets some shade in the morning, will the blackberry bush do well there? Below is a picture of the bush!

These plants require full sun. However, if it is only a couple of hours of morning shade, your blackberry will do OK.

Keep your plant watered this fall and even if we have a dry winter, consider watering it. Don't ferilize until next spring. The roots are shallow so, mulch your plant this winter.

You will need 6-8 hours of full sun for fruit production. Do you have a sunny spot for a large pot?

Should be fine if the shade is only in the morning. Presumably you refer to summer time when you mention shade. Enjoy!
