Why is it that my squash plants are growing very nicely but....
After the flowers have nicely bloomed they seem to be falling off the plant? Is it from the wind or some kind of insect? I have lost 6 blooms in about a weeks time and it has not been windy all the days they seem to disappear.
If your flowers are dropping it likely means they have not been pollinated. The flowers must be pollinated to produce squash. Do you have many bees around? Try not to kill them all off. They serve a great purpose for our gardens.
It's also possible the roots are being attacked by bugs. If you can safely check that would be my second option.
