Winter- cold chilling its quiet, bt when you get cold you can be active and move around to get warmth.
Fall is my favorite season since I was a teenager. I like bundling up, and that's when we can start layering on the clothes. Fall starts bringing people together after a summer of vacations, busy work gardening, running to warm weather activities, trying to cram all the fun stuff we can into our much too short summers. It is a time to start having community pot luck dinners, Chili and soup suppers, and the church ladies getting together to bake pies and goodies to raffle off at these free will offering events. We grab the babies, Grandmas, Daddys and Mamas and head to pumpkin patches and corn mazes for family fun. Flashlights, apple cider, carmel apples and marshmallow roasts. AWWWW looking forward to this already.
Fall is my favorite too. Here is a poem I wrote last fall:
One Fall Day
a smoky horizon
a pink canvas
a bright candle
the sun lies in,
a faded drum
in the distance
waves, currents, danger
a single rose
like a stranger,
birds and autumn
their last meeting
winter comes in
fresh and satisfying
the air breathes
leaves me kissed,
by the river,
leaves are shedding
a ground bedding
orange, red, yellow,
the fall's tones
leave me mellow,
respect and wellness
For some reason my favourite season is winter. I like all the four seasons here in England though. The four seasons have their own beauty. I love the snow in winter, the whiteness of everything looks pretty to me.
I used to love winter, because of my birthday, but living in Ohio makes you dislike seasons mainly because you forget what they are. I am not sure where anyone else is from or if you suffer from Mother Natures confusion, but we can have all 4 seasons in one week, one day its 90 degrees next day the kids get a snow day! Absolutely insane! I think I would have to go with Fall though, not to hot and not to cold, just right (:
That's so insane! Wow! I don't think I would be able to withstand that! Although in the winter I wish it was warm and summer. In the summer I wish it was winter, so I guess it changes often for you!
It's definitely different! It's the middle of July and it feels like Spring with all this rain and off and on warm days.
Wow, I can't believe it! That is just so weird, I always thought that everyone in USA got the same weather, I live in Boston, Massachusetts!
I love fall too. I love the colors of the trees and the falling leaves. Just perfect to my eyes.
we don't have seasons in malaysia, only 2 weathers rain or sun. But I would love to feel winter
I love fall too!!! The fashion and everything is awesome! I love boots and scarves and sweaters. The whole tumblr look, although I never turn out to look like the tumblr person! I also love the Starbucks flavors during the fall, like a pumpkin chai latte!
