We are in the progress of buying a home and moving my hot tub. On the new cement I would like to add a handful of tiles as a decoration - any one done this? Does it work or is it a nuance for maintenance?
The last cement that I did was edged in brick - very pricey but oh, the results were stunning. I don't have the funds for that project and was looking for something more frugal yet a tiny bit of character.
BTW - I was able to maintain my beloved hot tub when I negotiated with my new husband that I would give up my hot tub IF he forever gave up massages! No further discussion was needed.

what is the depreciation on a hot tub? I am thinking about buying a used 5 yr old tub and want...to know what it is worth in good condition. It will be expensive to move and get a new cover and I don't want to end up...

What are the pros and cons of various types of tiles in showers? I'm thinking of the differences between ceramic, glass, talavera, marble-or are there other choices?
