Golfing is one of the most popular sports in the world and it's not just for the professional. It begins in the heart of a sportsman to perfect their swing with the hopes that one day they will play on that perfect golf course. I'm sure you've seen it - little golfers practicing in their backyard with daddy looking on and correcting every move.

Thomas Kinkade must have been one of those little boys, because he grew up to be a huge fan and participant in the sport; so much so, he painted what he believed could be "the perfect golf course."

Whether or not one is a golfer, the Living Waters Golfer's Paradise series can be enjoyed by all.   Take a look at how Thomas brought a little bit of Heaven to Earth in his golfer's view of what could be the most exciting place anyone could experience in recreation.

The lighting products from this series Living Walters Golfer’s Paradise are displayed on this site.   Look for more of Thomas Kinkade also listed below.

This is the story of a Golfer's Dream Course

Living Waters - Golf course in Heaven

As in any painting, there is a hidden story to be told, and Living Waters Golfer’s Paradise is no different.

It all began with a discussion about heaven that he had repeatedly with his children.  From the curious minds of his little daughters came an opening into an entire new series that would take him into a deeper level of inspiration based on the thoughts of Heaven.  What would the perfect golf course look like?   There is only one place that this golf course could exist – Heaven!

In Living Waters Golfer’s Paradise, Thomas Kinkade posed a question to himself, “If there were a golf course in Heaven ....  Hmm.   And so, the master painter began creating what he envisioned would be the perfect place, a golfer’s paradise.

In the last few years of Kinkade’s life he focused many of his paintings on thoughts of a glorious life in Heaven.  It was almost as if he somehow knew he would be going there soon.

If Jesus has prepared a place for us to dwell eternally in Heaven, surely it must include a place where there would be beautiful fragrant gardens in which we could walk and talk with the Lord. Perhaps there were acres and acres of the most glorious putting greens where Jesus was teeing off in His own backyard.

Living Waters Golfer’s Paradise depicts such a place in the imagination of the Painter of Light.  He tells of a place that only exists in his thoughts, and perhaps the mind of every golfer.

Are you or any member of your family a golfer?
