How To Become An Extreme Couponer Guide
The Basics
On Sunday go buy several local newspapers. Sunday papers include many ads and coupons. You are buying several so you have multiple coupons for great deals. You can also ask friends, family and neighbors for coupons, print them out at coupon websites and pick up extra circulars at your favorite stores.
Create an organizer for your coupons. Many couponers use zipper binders and insert sport card fillers so the coupons are easily seen. You will want to categorize them in a way that is best for you. Start filling your binder with coupons from the above sources.
Scan the ads each week and match your coupons to the on sale deals at your local stores and you are a couponer.
There is much more to this. You have to come up with a system and you have to be very aware of each store's coupon policies. As you get into it you will find more little tricks that work for you. There are many books out there to help you on your couponing journey and below you will find many helpful books and products for your coupon shopping.
I hope this article helps and inspires you to save huge amounts of money in the near future.
Keep in mind that the extreme couponers that you see on television are using multiple coupons for the same product, sometimes in the hundreds or thousands. They either beg steal or borrow ads from people, recycling centers or they also buy the coupons from others on eBay or coupon exchange sites.
Because this is a learned skill and you have to know what you are doing to make it work I would suggest starting small and working up to the extreme level.
