Let the riches flow in...

So you are interested in making money from home? Well, you have probably searched and searched and searched until you have reached the ends of the Internet, and it seems the ability to become a millionaire from your couch is impossible. Well is it?

The problem is you are looking for a way to make money with very little effort. Even for a successful home business to work, you need to put in a lot of effort and a lot of time. I have yet to come across one person who sits at home and makes money without doing anything. The only way you will be able to sit home and make money “effortlessly” would be if you had a rich uncle out there somewhere willing to inherit his millions to you while you sit home and watch cartoons and American Idol. Even then, without a proper plan to invest the money, it would eventually diminish and you would return right back to the beginning, attempting to find a way to effortlessly make money from home.

Can it be done???

Is it Possible?

Now I am not going to be all negative and say that making money while you stay at home is impossible, cause it’s not. People have done it. There are people who are successful at staying home and making a profit all the time. The question is, what do they do? The second question is, how much do they make?

What is the measurement of success? After all, I stay home and make money by doing it. Yet, the money I make is far from effortless. In fact, I am probably working harder now than I did when I worked at an employer/employee type job where I worked for 40 hours and cashed a paycheck at the end. Yet, by measurement of success, I have made money by working from home. Okay, so as of today, my earnings have hit just shy of $17, and that is after 4 months of hard work. But, I did earn money! Can I live off of it… no. I can’t even buy my family a meal at McDonald’s. Yet, I have been successful! The bonus is that this money will continue to increase, and in the future it will probably multiply faster and faster.

So what can I do?

That is a question I can’t really answer. It is a personal one and only you can make that decision. I can however offer advice on different venues you can try. Some of them you might find successful; and others will seem like a waste of time. This is the part where the effort comes in. Regardless of how successful the idea might be, without the proper amount of effort, you will fail to be successful.

Do you have an Idea?

One way you can work from home is to come up with a best selling idea. We have all seen the infomercials on TV. You know the ones I am talking about. Those one hit wonder “As Seen On TV” ads. They are those useful tools that once you see them you automatically think, “Why didn’t I think of that?” So here is your chance to make some money from home. Come up with a great idea no one can live without and patent it! Sound easy? Of course it does. Unfortunately, it won’t go without effort either. You will have to do plenty of research to make sure no one else has also come up with your idea and then you have to go through the pains of trying to get the product created. Then, hopefully, you can pitch the idea and become a millionaire. Try it and tell me how it goes.

Do you have an opinion??

If you are like everybody else, I bet you have an opinion. Well, this is your chance to make money from it. There are several opinion panels out there that will pay you for something you like to give away for free… your opinion.

A great opinion panel to try is OpinionOutpost.com. This is a site that allows you to give your opinion and receive points for that opinion. It only requires 10 points to earn a dollar, and several of the surveys are worth at least that. To get paid out, you only need 50 points, where you can then choose to receive a check, an amazon gift card, or even to donate to charity.

There are several different opinion panels out there you can try. Out of the ones I have tried, Opinion Outpost is one of the few I have found to not spam the participants with other offers. It is also one of the few I have found that actually reward you with money. The downfall of doing surveys online is that it can be very time consuming. You also have no guarantee of the number of surveys you will be offered or the money you will make. But, if you are looking to making money at home with very little effort, this probably requires the least amount of effort.

Do you have a skill???

If you want to work at home and you have skills, you may also be interested in checking out freelance working sites. I recently signed up for Odesk.com and found there are several jobs out there available where you can make a few bucks. The downfall is you need to have a skill, so this is not a place to look if you want to make effortless money. If you have skills in Writing &Translation, Web Development, Customer Service, Sales & Marketing and many other avenues, this might be a good option for you. The concept is free to sign up for and you are in control of the money you make. Setting your profile up can take time and finding your first job can be hard, but once you get your feet wet, this is a great way to supplement your income or possibly work from home. There are also opportunities on RentaCoder.com and Elance.com. Check them out and see if this is an opportunity you might like to try.

Do you want to Write???

The best way I found to make money online is definitely worth the effort. Writing online can be both profitable and fun. It can also be a great way to meet new people. Writing for Hubpages has been a great experience. I have been able to let my creativity flow all while earning money with Google Adsense. If you would like to join me on a Hubpages adventure where you too can earn money from home, click here. I promise you it won’t be a journey that you regret.

I also write for another writing website were you can earn money from Google Adsense. Xomba.com is also a great way to earn money through your writing. It can also help you with backlinks to your articles that you have written on Hubpages.

Both of these sites are wonderful ways to increase your income. Remember, writing for money online is hard work. If you are looking for an effortless way to make money, you will never find an answer. Writing for both Hubpages and Xomba is definitely a great way to explore your creativity and make a few extra dollars in the process.

A little inspiration...

So now what?

Now you know your options. The question is what are you going to do with it? The avenues are out there, and with a little effort and a little time, soon you can join the ranks of making money while you sit at home.

So what are you going to do with it? Are you going to try your successes? Are you going to join the millions of others online trying to make a little extra money? It doesn't hurt to try.

Good luck on your adventures!
