You need to look at what you are good at and excel from it. Make it a change to yourself so that you can be more successful and prove to yourself that they are wrong.

I agree with civic. If people under-estimate you, show them how great a person you are. Prove them wrong.

Perhaps you are under-estimating yourself. Take a look at what you like to do, and do it better. If you are on a job, make an effort to work harder at it.
If someone is underestimating you, then perhaps you are not showing "what" you can actually do.
Don't be a show off though. That will make an already bad image, even worse.
