What is an authentic working from home job in any field that does not cost money to start? no scams

I am trying to go back to school now that my child is one, and I am trying to get a job where I can see my son more.  I currently am employed full time in a retail place and I am going back to school this semester.  I saw my son very little when I was going to school through the first year of his life.  I just need a chance to make money at home and raise my child.  If there is any way to make that possible just please let me know how.

I wish you the best of luck, but keep in mind that almost everything takes some sort of startup money. You wouldn't expect to start a home business with NO money.

Instead of focusing on finding something that doesn't cost any money, I would look for something that takes very little startup revenue.

Have you thought about any sort of freelancing? I am a freelance writer, and my business took very little cash to start. I also have a friend who makes bags from scraps and sells them. Things like this can be started with very little time and money, but if you are diligent with them, they can grow exponentially in a matter of months.

If you have any sort of talent, hone it and then utilize it!

Be careful when you're looking to do things online especially whenever you're asked for personal information. For a couple of answers I noticed references to Hub Pages that were recently written so be careful with those too.

I wrote an article about making money from home and READING THE FINE PRINT before choosing one you think you might like. I also mention that you should talk to people you know personally that has done something successful that you'd like to do.

I was a single mom many years ago so I fully understand your plight. One of the things I did when going back to school (college) was to take every other semester off whenever I could. I took those times as a breather for myself as well as for more time for my kids. I've never regretted it.

Today it's possible to do accredited online learning for many types of programs which should help you to be at home with your son more while still studying (online) for some of your courses.

For income generated from home and depending on the amount you need to support yourself, consider things like taking in typing, doing a businesses paperwork at home or being an assistant for a real estate agent (and working out of your home). While doing so create passive income (income that is continually generated after you start or develop something - home based businesses are good for this) so that you don't have to work full-time outside of your home as your son grows or for the rest of your life.

There are no get-rich-quick schemes or programs out there or else we'd all know about them and everyone would be doing them too.

A person can make a lot of money from home if they're creative and put in their dues but it takes time. Believe, be positive and you will be able to make it work!
