What age do you start filing tax returns?
My daughter is 15 years old and worked week-ends this winter. Is she required to file a 1040EZ?
She should. If she has any withholding in box one, she will most likely get it back. Make certain she checks the box that says claimed by another as you are claiming her I assume. Even if she does not get a refund, it will get her name in the system, and whwen she does make more money, she can e-file more easily.
taxes r income-based, not age based. we're charged according 2 what we make

Do you prepare your own income tax returns or pay a professional to do it?I jsut went through the ordeal. We tried Turbo Tax this year, and the fee was only $65.00, as opposed to $300 to 400 for a non-CPA and who knows how much for one of those.

The Senator from Nevada, Reid, says a Bain Capital employee told him Mitt Romney did not pay taxes for 10 years. If this proves to be true, does this change anything? Won't some people simply regard Romney as more of a hero, wishing they could do the same thing.
