    No, I probably wouldn't buy a house to rehab unless it was on the very edge of the plain and I knew I could get a great deal on the

    1. house
    2. raising the house

    Which probably wouldn't happen.

    Yes. I would buy the property, but I would not build a house on it. If a house was already built there, I would not bother with it though.

    I enjoy land that is not built on. I own a lot of very beautiful land in the country, and if I have an opportunity to buy a floodplain land I would, to conserve the land.

    No, I would not buy a property in a flood area to live or to build a home on.

    Absolutely not. Flood insurance is so expensive and it is not worth the risk.
