Do you still put money into a 401(k) or other stock/bond funds?
I have money in these investment vehicles, but I am actually trying to reduce my exposure to the risk and losses that go with these type of investments. Sometimes it seems that the similarity to gambling is too great..
Yes. The economy will come back. Dollar cost averaging will benefit you over the coming years. Keep investing.
I am constantly putting 21% of my income into my 401(k). You never know when the bottom may be and if you wait you will miss the biggest growth potential. Over time it will average out and you will be glad you purchased lower priced stocks.
