What are some household items that can be used after their expiration dates?

If there are any household items that can be used past their expiration dates, how much money can you save from not having to buy a new supply?

Most medications last a lot longer than the date printed on the bottle.

I would never recommend using any medications past their expiration date...some meds lose their effectiveness after awhile, and some gain strength and concentration...why take the risk?

I haven't looked, but it would seem that household cleaners last forever. And if it will still come out of the tube, it seems like glue works just fine, in my experience. Coincidentally (or not), you can save a lot of money by finding both common brand name cleaners and glue at your local 99cent store!

Vinegar seems to last forever if stored in the refrigerator. It is used to preserve and pickle so this does make sense.
