What is an earned income tax credit?
Does anyone have information on how this tax credit works for families filing regular tax returns.
The Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is a refundable tax credit available to low income families and individuals. It appears on line 64 (page 2) of the federal Form 1040. The IRS has a good informational webpage: http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/ … 06,00.html
