If you won money in the lottery would you remain anonymous or would you not?
Why?
If I won a large amount of money in the lottery, I would definitely want to remain anonymous. However, I don't believe that is possible in California, where I live.
Anonymous. I would not wish to be regarded differently just for having much more money. Then again, I don't play the lottery, so it' s a moot point.
I would definitely stay anonymous. Suddenly winning huge amounts of money could be dangerous - suddenly you and your family could be targets for blackmail, or kidnapping etc. Desperate people can do desperate things and it is getting more desperate out there in the world.
Staying anonymous would allow me to adjust to the situation and decide without pressure where my charitable gifts would go and who I would be able to help.
I would definitely stay annonymous! I would not spend my money like a rock star either. I would live modestly and not spend the money foolishly either.
