Have any UK hubbers been affected by the RBS's software screw up?

    Have any UK hubbers been affected by the RBS's software screw up?

    I've no idea if my account is in order as I live quite a bit away from the main branch and couldn't access my on line account. But I just wondered if any other hubbers have had or are having problems? What an absolute, not so funny,  'joke' our banks are!!

    No, thank God, I actually cancelled my Halifax account about a month ago and joined HSBC. I did it because in my job I get paid by cheque and it took more than a week to clear. With HSBC, a cheque clears immediately so it was a no brainer.

    I've heard somewhere that things are on the mend now, hope everything is okay with your account, Seeker.

      thanks JKenny - yes my account is actually fine. A friend of mine did have quite a few issues so is now thinking about changing his bank.

    No thank goodness feel sorry for people affected who were unable to pay their mortgage on time quite shocking really although it is fixed will take time to get up to date for peoples accounts....

      Thanks Lillian1 - yes I was sorry for those folks as well with their mortages and so on! What a nightmare for them. I think I was very lucky since my account seemed to be largely unaffected.
