Mobile Credit Card Readers for Android Devices
Does anyone know for certain if there is a mobile credit card reader which will work on android devices? I need one and I do not want to use Square as it is not PCI complaint and I have tried PhoneSwipe. It works if I key in the amount, but the swipe will not work. I am paying more to key in the amounts and that sucks!!! Please, if you know first hand of a reader that will work on an android phone or tablet, please let me know...Thanks!!!
I have an Android phone and used the Intuit Mobile quite frequently until Paypal introduced theirs. Both are just fine but I'm more comfortable with Paypal.
Here is the links to both of them so you can compare:
I use a Toshiba Thrive Tablet for my credit cards and I've realized neither Intuit Mobile or Paypal will work on my tablet. Seems so far only the Square will work and I just hate they are not PCI compliant. Any other suggestions?
