   Do any of you have a good luck charm or object?
   
   Some people carry a rabbits foot for good luck or a loved ones ring or necklace or a favorite t-shirt and some say that brings them good luck when they have it near them. Do any of you carry such a good luck charm and has it really ever worked for you?

   I have had a few different good luck charms over the years. They all have been a piece of jewelry such as a necklace or a ring. My first was a heart shaped necklace with little beads hanging off the chain. The one after that was a copper coin with Medusa's head on one side and the moon on the other. Though I don't wear the coin anymore I have it hanging over my laptop and I feel that it does bring me some luck in how often I find inspiration for a story. My current charm is a silver ring. I believe it isn't the charm itself that brings luck but how much energy and belief you put into that object. Sometimes it just doesn't work out but that doesn't mean the energy you put into that charm is worthless. It may just be how that event was supposed to play out, luck or not.

      Thank you CroftRoan for sharing your good luck charms. I am glad they have worked for you. But you are most definitely right when you say it's the energy you give any object that gives it the luck or good fortune.
