    How do you make money at a flea market?

    Have you ever had success making money at a flea market? What kinds of stuff did you sell? Do you have any tips or advice for new sellers?

    I have made money at flea markets BUT it is the same as any other business. In a typical flea market, there is a lot of competition and lots of options. You have to be priced right and set yourself apart somehow. There are also a lot of costs associated with a flea market (booth rent, gas money, etc) so my best advice is to see if your market offers free outdoor booths or low rent indoor units that you can rent for just the day and start there.

    i think antiques do really well at flea markets.. 

    handmade crafts and clothing etc., movies, tools, nicnacks, and jewlery are next best sellers....

    other options are candles, inscence (sp?), perfumes, etc ....
