I am new to the site, and I was wondering how people make money off of their hub pages? I really like this site, and regardless if you can make money or not, I will still use it. I am just wondering.
You just take your hub, put it in a big bag, go to the nearest flea market and sell it! That's how most people sell their hubs here. I usually give away mines for free.
You don't make money directly from hubpages but from a few different affiliate programs mainly google adsense. Your hubs will have links to ads and when someone clicks those links you will earn anywhere from $.01 to $5.00! Of course you will have to sign up for these affiliate programs first but it's not a hard process. If you follow the links for adsense under your account page you will have adsense up and running in no time. Keep in mind that once your adsense ID is applied to your hugpages account hubpages will display your ads 60% of the time and there own 40% of the time Which is still pretty good.
There are a couple of monetization methods like Google Adsense as well as Amazon and Ebay whihc you can use .
In fact if you read the forums you will find very good info on how people have been able to monetize their hubs effectively.
Nick,
There's a whole section to the FAQ that talks about the various ways of earning.

There are a metric buttload of hubs about how to make money on HubPages (yes, people do make money). Type "make money on HubPages" in the search box at the top of the page, and you'll have plenty of reading material.
I think the old tale about people making moeny on hubpages is a myth, you might as well all give me your hubs

What with all the "how much money can you make here?" questions. I have decided to share some of my own experiences. Clearly there are higher paying pages than others, but as far as adsense goes, these are my three highest earning hubs this month:http://hubpages.com/hub/Foreclosure-Lis...

I think it would be nice if we could earn money from our questions here on hubpages. Still with the 60/40 split just like on our hubs. The only thing I would think would be people posting too many questions, so maybe implement a cap on questions ie 3-5 per day as long as they are not spammy. ...

I am okay at writing and can go way more in depth then I have, however I am not sure it is necessary to have a good profitable hub. I only do things that are fun to me, but I was just wondering about a couple things.1.) I am suggesting links using the suggested links in hubpages, now I knows its...
