I personally love antiques. Any kind of antiques from books to knives to furniture, I love the workmanship that went into everything before the manufacturing world took over. I think about who might've made the item, how difficult the work was, and how long it probably took them. I think it's important to hang on to old items because they'll be a wonderous item in the future, to visualize how the past might have looked, and not just by reading it from a book.

I also love good deals on clothing and household items. I could hang out at a flea market all day!!

Books. I am such a fan of old musty, dilapidated books and paperbacks.

Any old books or do you have a favorite genre?

MissJamieD, I have been trying to comment on your answer and it won't let me open the comment field behind it.  I love anything vintage myself, especially kitchen gidget-gadgets.

I always head straight for the jewelry. I have a soft spot for unique/interesting pieces (though I rarely buy anything). I also love to explore old photographs, newspapers, books, and antiques--really anything that gives me a look into what life was like in other peoples' pasts.
