In my opinion, I think it will be proper to educate graduating students of the importance of staying debt free as much as possible (note that i am refering to bad debts in this case; debts that don't just add value)
More time should be allocated to teachings on financial planning. What is your opinion?
i totally agree. no need to start life with debt looming over their heads.
My opinion is that one way to teach this would be to not saddle them with student loans.
i was just thinking that...thank goodness for scholarships.
The problem is not that they are saddled with student loans but not armed with sound financial tools. Oh! is just like giving a child bag of salt and making raing after the child. Is so frustrating
The school systems are always in the red and have always been financially irresponsible. So, how can they teach our youth to be financially responsible? It's up to the parents to teach their children the ways of money not the schools.
