If money were no object, what you buy and where would you go?
I often fantasize about Paris, and exotic things. Where would you travel, and what you buy if money was no object?
The first thing I would do is to take a long holiday to those places which I would love to see, and couldn't afford, such as the Canadian Rockies, Yellowstone National Park, and the Temple of Kali in India.
Also I would have my bathroom upgraded and add another room to my house on the spot where an old shed now is.
I would buy a personal 'Global Series' jet with transatlantic capacity. Then go to Sweden first landing at Gothenburg. From there I would like my feel for adventure, discovery, and the imagination lead me.
When I think of having large amounts of money, I usually don't think about what I'd buy, so much as what I'd give. I'm at the point in my life where I don't want more stuff.
It would be great to move to a place that's more progressive, and has a big creative community. I'd like to move somewhere like Austin or Santa Fe, and give my current house to my next door neighbor, who has been mowing my front yard, and helping me out whenever I need anything, since I moved in 15 years ago.
I'd like to replace my 16 year old truck, and donate my current one to a local program.
I'd like to set up a trust fund for my friend's animal rescue, so she could cover her monthly bills from the interest. I have another friend who wants to open a restaurant, and I'd love to gift her the funds to follow her dream.
As for travel, I did a lot of that when I was younger. I'd like to go back to Italy, and explore more cities there. I'd like to gather the women in my art group, who are spread out across the country, and go somewhere with them.
I would simply purchase my youth again and revisit it with all of the knowledge I have gained...

I was so surprised to see someone we knew. We're happy for him. I was thinking about what all he could do with that money. What would you do if you won the Powerball lottery?
