I have an eCommerce site where I am promoting primarily items sold on Amazon.com. The problem I have is how to set up my home page. Currently the home page is just a bunch of ads, Amazon products and Amazon Affiliate banners.
I want to know what sort of content should I be putting on the home page? I am a writer but I am stuck. I really have no idea about such things. Can someone suggest something please?
More info would help. What is the site about etc
It would be better if you write about the importance, tips on using, or something similar on the home page
Hmm the link was snipped before I could see it
Anyway I'm off to bed. Send me a message with the link if you want to or add it to your profile will check back in the morning
Good night Brandon, will add to my profile. Thanks!
All I could say is write an intro as to what people can do on the site and the various places you get affiliates from. I see you've got most of this done; but, you could expand on it:D
I agree with lobo - I also read this a few minutes ago and left no comment because you were not clear. I have a website with Ecommerce and was wondering what advice to give you...
Sorry about that guys. It's a site selling stuff like books, software, electronics and games and so forth.
All the pages with the Amazon stores are set up but my homepage need something. I can't think of what to put on it in terms of content.
Here is the site:- <link snipped>
You can "how to" articles about some of the products you are offering, do reviews on products you use or have used and you are promoting
Try to write content about your site by going and having an idea about other e commerce site .... you will get an idea about what to write .....

I don't suppose I'm the only person wondering what happens if the machinations - automated or otherwise - lead to HubPages having a much REDUCED income stream from Amazon.Make no mistake - as Google Adsense income dives (which it has been doing consistently for months) - income from Amazon modules...
