Look At 2009 Loksabha Result

Result in 2009 Loksabha

Biju Janata Dal (BJD) =14

Communist Party of India (CPI) = 1

Indian National Congress (INC) = 6

This is the picture that voters of Odisha have resulted in.Biju Janata Dal(BJD) is holding the maximum while Indian National Congress is able to hold a decent number. It gets 6 seats.Coommunist Party of India holds a seat .Thus the picture is clear ,in Odisha the main power is Biju Janata Dal(BJD) in which people have keep their faith again and again.Congress is not a matter to dismiss. It has also gotten six seats which means there are Congress supporters as well. But in the tally sheet ,we do not find a trace of BJP or Bharatiya Janata Party which has a successful history in its name for Odisha in Parliamentary Constituencies. Now ,it appears that the Modi-Wave draws the mind of the people of Odisha back into Bharatiya Janata Party's favour.

BJD or BJP

All eyes are on Loksabha Election of 10th and 17th April in Odisha where Nabin Patnaik has been governing since 2000 .He got 14 Loksabha seats and 103 Bidhansabha in 2009 Election. It is expected that the BJD could get 17 Lok Sabha seats out of 21 total seats.BJD leader insists on their work on education, health, quiting poverty etc. They believe that in their time, rate of poverty has been reduced.Primary education gets full strength.Death of infant and woman has been decreased.Poor people are given rice 1 Re a kg.Thus basic need is filled up.The subsidised rice scheme for BPL started at Rs 2 per kg as it had been declared before the 2009 election ,has reduced to Re 1 a kg in February 2013.It helped BJD in the assembly and Lok Sabha election that year. But Mohapatra has now launched his party, the Odisha Jan Morcha.Patnaik has become alone. He is one and only face to face the mob in polotical rallies ,campaigns and gatherings.Crowd seem to be lessening.Comparatively in BJP's rally of Modi or Congress's rally of Rahul are getting more success in respect of crowd.Mining scam has already been leak out.
