All I Want For Christmas is to Be Hired As A CEO for a Major Wall Street Bank!!!

Updated on December 2, 2011

All I Want For Christmas is to Be Hired As A CEO for a Major Wall Street Bank!!!

So it is December and I am looking around me. No one is out there hustling and bustling in the stores. My Amazon and Ebay sales are zero. And I am having to spend my days fighting over glucose monitoring strips for a child who has a rare disorder which very few in the medical community have even bothered to read up on. And I am wondering why do I have to fight so hard to exist?

I have an advanced degree and I have paid and paid and paid into the system so why am I left so far out in the cold that I can’t even afford Christmas gifts around me? There are really bad if not down right rotten people who are living exceptionally well off the hardships of others in particular Wall Street and our federal government.

Anyone who follows me knows clearly I work. I work very hard each and everyday. I don’t have exceptional pay or holidays unlike so many who claim to represent us or work on Wall Street. If anything I am looking at the numbers on Wall Street and it is so very clear that the 99% don’t count but everyone in the financial services industry does. This of course includes corporate America. There numbers are great for Wall Street. They are Bonus numbers!! They are going to have a wonderful holiday. It is the rest of us that are going to have to suffer and do without.

How has anything changed at all? How has all those protests changed anything but the government placing tighter sanctions on the people of this country? You can be arrested as a terrorist now as a USA citizen!! Merry Christmas!!

So I would like to be a CEO of a major Wall Street Bank. Let’s face it how hard could it be? Rip off the American people and have congress make it legal!! Borrow money from the government who is leveraging the next generation of childrens’ lives. Great ripping off the unborn. That is a fun game. I understand the Abortion issue now as a pro-lifer since all the babies in this country will be born to poverty and slavery.

Really I could do this job. I would probably employ people and try and have a more balanced approach towards the American public but really I wouldn’t mind having to charter a jet instead of owning a private one. I could even suffer and fly first class. A House on Park Avenue and a house in the Hamptons wouldn’t bother me at all. I could even be trouble to attend board meetings on Fridays. That’s a rarity in corporate America today. And I bet I could retain employees, provide a living wage and even improve the Banking system without having to rely so heavily on having Congress rip off the American people and taxing unborn babies’ lives.

Starting at The Bottom

I have had a savings account since I was a little kid. When it was inactive for a while the bank took my money. So I have started at the bottom. I have been banking most my adult life and lived with so little so long it would behoove a banking industry.

But I also love my country and my friends. I would probably be the George Bailey of the banking industry. But don’t we need George Bailey (It’s a Wonderful Life for Those Who I Have Lost) working in Banks as CEO’s today to rebuild our economy and get it growing again? Don’t we need bankers who see the big picture and not just take their platinum parachutes and run?

My Mother worked in the bank since she was a teenager. I had to read the Patriot Act laws to her and explain what had to be done and why to avoid money laundering schemes in the USA which financed terrorism. Yes, there were money laundering schemes and they still exist in our banking system. So I am more then qualified.

Banking Internationally

I work for Hubpages and I have friends around the world. How hard could banking around the world be? Besides I would just get in touch with all my hubpage friends and they would help me out.

Why Not?

Do you think a bank CEO would make it a week on the streets without his wealth? Or do you believe the people who have to work every single day to survive in this really uncivilized country are the ones who are the strong? It is a debatable question. What I can say for certain is that bank CEO(s) are so far removed from poverty and that they are apathetic and completely pathetic. And they are the last people on the planet that deserve to live well in these times.

So the elitism and the superiority of the Wall Street crowd reigns. Didn’t Obama start his campaign with, “I didn’t go to work for Wall Street after finishing law school”? No President Obama you waited until you got into the White House to work for Wall Street at the expense of every single American family. And you want us to re-elect you?

Unless I am CEO of a major bank by Christmas I will not vote for Obama. I suggest you set the same high standards.

Because let’s face it nobody in DC works on Friday. The austerity packages for corporate American and Government are huge welfare packages for less than sage people who are complete failures as human beings and at their jobs.

Corporate America and government have completely failed this country decentralizing money in other countries to make certain the USA people live oppressed lives so only a few could have the wealth.

And it is time we all lived like Kings in this country while failing to do our job because that is the new definition of American ingenuity. “Millionaire welfare schemes to rip off the unborn.”.

Merry Christmas that is at least for Wall Street the rest of us are completely screwed!

Mad as hell and not taking it anymore and throwing all of the bums out!!

      Hi GA,

I don't believe in villians or parties. Please get to know my work before judging me. First I should let you know that my family has worked for at least 9 presidents since Rutherford B. Hayes and served on both sides of the civl war. We are the Rough Riders who fought with Theodore Roosevelt. When I began writing on Hubpages I explained all of this but this fact is often over looked because people who are interested politics aren't interested in presidential history. Since my Mother's death I have been trying to decide how I will preserve this historical heirloom. I haven't decided yet. It is priceless.

Second if you haven't read my bio I was working on my PhD when I had my son and I am a Bosch. So I wouldn't be involved in class warfar nor would I be involved in economic jealousy.

But if you read my work and you are still ocnvinced you may think of me what you wish. What goes on in DC has absolutely nothing to do with parties. Once everyone is there they get along great. There is the National Security Council which runs everything and the president either George or Barack are the pitch men.

We have lived through a very similar era at the beginning of the early 1900(s) and Mckinley was asssinated and our people had the day off. The economic inequality resulted in World War I. The economic inequality was caused by too few people benefiting form world trade which is exactly where we are at right now.

But I want you to see and judge for yourself.

This is part of the heirloom of course I am not at liberty to reveal all of it to you.

As for the Tea Party being embraced by Obama that was on the morning news shows. It could be inaccurate. It would not be the first time I heard something inaccurate on television. Thank you for the opprtunity to sight my source.

Here are the articles about the Tea Party but by no means all of them. I have also written very pro Democratic hubs in which I name Barack Obama the new FDR. It has been my observation Democrats never comment on pro democratic hubs and Republicans never comment on pro republican hubs. Besides the obvious there is absolutely no difference between Bush and Obama. Niether villians or heroes just front men.

Completely disagree with me but at least read more than one article before you do. I wouldn't shot you down the first artilce I read that you wrote and you haven't. You have been very civilized and kind and I appreciate it.

      Thank You,

      Actually American Romance,

This hub is written as a fiscal conservative rebulican hub which is something you my not recognize from me. Because I can write both sides of the issue.

The banks don't deserve the taxpayers money when their insitutions have failed!!! I am more qualified to run a bank because I haven't run one into the ground with bad chinese mortgages.

      1) Haven't run a finacnial system into debt while taking record bonuses for risky investments!!!

      2) Have lobbied the president of the United States (George with World Communications and Eron and Barack with TARP)to bail out the financial institutions at the cost of the taxpayers.

      3) Just because Obama it inviting the Tea Party to the table doesn't mean any of them wil get what they want. Chances are they will join and go down in flames with the Democratic Party.

I don't believe in Parties but I certainly don't believe in the gigantic welfare schemes of both our government and our coporations.

In order to be entitled to be a CEO you would have to run a business in the Black. Every business is being run in the red. And still yet CEO(s) live like kings with 150 million dollar compensation packages if they are fired for doing a bad job.

What is even more interesting is that you have again attacked people and not talked about the issues of greed in America. I will spare you the attack but you seem to be okay with greed at the expense of the American taxpayer. You are going to pay for TARP and given your comments in this article I guess you consent.

Argue the issues and not me and your posts will stay.

I read your hub and realized it was passionate, heartfelt etc. but I am left wondering how, and why do you feel like the CEOs got something they didn't deserve and that the only way it can be fair is if YOU get their jobs? What makes them undeserving and you deserving? This mindset is new to me, I see it daily, not just from your hub but others as well! Do you think some random bum off the streets simply walked into the largest office and said pay me one million a year and have a limo pick me up for work? Why are the CEOs to blame? Don't tell me because of the housing crisis Barney Frank caused, give me a real reason? Besides why just the banks? What about GE? they pay no taxes and made over a billion dollars in just one quarter! Not to mention they made it using OUR money! Part of which they sent over seas to build a new plant with foreign workers!

Why not get mad at regulations caused by Democrats that cost many jobs! 20,000 out of work in the CA delta because of a tiny minnow that only lives one year at best! 12000 out of work in the timber forest of Arizona and New Mexico because of the spotted owl,........those forest burned to the ground this past summer by the way and now humans along with the owl have nothing to show for it!

      Hi Brian,

I do hear alot that I write what people feel inside but are afraid to verbalize.

You don't want to be a bank CEO for Christmas?

It is early yet, I bet JEB steps into the race.

Is your life better then it was four years ago?

      I doubt it.

      Mine isn't either.

I think the choices are unacceptable all the way around.

Great article JT, but have to say I'm with chefsref on the bit about Obama vs a republican. Chefsref nailed it with the "Trickle Down Theory" comment in my opinion. Also agree with chefsref in that it's a lesser of two evils choice :(

That said though, it really is a wonderful article.

Hope you keep these up. At least for me, your words say what I feel.

We are borrowing money from Saudi Arabia and China to pay for those big tax cuts too...can we let them expire? Who do you think will get that bill? Romney and Newt want to make those cuts permanent. 60% of deficit! permanent.

They want to Outlaw abortion....hope you don't have daughters.

They want to take from social security rather than tax millionaires 3% more...

No end to subsidies for big pharma, big oil, big corporate end to corporate welfare anything.

      Reduce upper end taxes! Again!

Remove Obamacare, so that pre-existing conditions will once again be reason to deny you health coverage.

Fire millions of gvt workers, increasing the unemployed level even more.

same old same old....and all of Obama's ideas have been shelved fighting these obstructionists in this corporate regime.

And who is running for office that you all plan on replacing these with?

And where was everybody in 2003, when all these destructive decisions we are living the results of now were being implemented?

Sorry--going back to the ones who put our demise in place is beyond ridiculous.

      Hi Chefsref,

I appreciate you are an Obama support. Quite frankly if I had not had a close friend woring in the McCain camp I would have voted for him. There is no difference between Obama and Bush or what will come next.

What economic theory do you believe Obama is subscribing to when he bails out the federal banks and taxs our children? It is the same trickle down theory. I say this to everyone who comments. Get your head out of partisanship and realize the parties in of themselves seek to be divisive.

My family has worked for 9 presidents and trust me what you descirbed is not the only options on the table right now.

Wall Street is making record profits from a president that says he dislikes Wall Street. Sorry to much hyporcripsy for me. Leader of the free world who pays off his buddies on Wall Street. Since I will certainly not be CEO of a Wall Street bank by Christmas yes, Obama has definetly lost my vote. And as bad as Christmas is going to suck for everyone Obama is losing votes from everyone but the rich who is the only people he represents. A lefty is suppose to be montarily motivated.

I have really tried not to dig into Obama too badly on my hubs but this is just too much with Wall Street making huge profits for Christmas and wow 140,000 jobs. That would even put a dent in unemployment in my town.

      HEY JT

I understand your frustration with Obama but do you really think the Republican candidate will set things right?

If you have young children and we elect Newt, the kids could go to work and help you reach financial independence. Or we might elect Romney and be confidant that he supports all the things he opposes.

Oh well, business just had the best quarter ever and taxes are at an all time low. All we have to do is wait, those tax cuts are going to give us all great jobs and "Trickle Down Theory" will kick in and we'll all get rich.

Those are the alternatives to Obama
