The Unmasking Of the American Left

An observation since the election of President Trump in 2016 is that the left has gone completely overboard. They are not trying to hide what they believe anymore. It is coming out one by one.

The latest government shut down and the fight over the budget exposed the Democrats as the party for open borders. They don’t want a wall because it is the only thing that will stop illegal immigrants from invading our country. In the past, they always say they want to fix this problem and they wanted to comprehensive reform and they want a secured border. They even agreed to building a fence until Trump wanted a wall.

President Trump called them out and they blinked. Nancy Pelosi went as far as to accuse the wall as being immoral.

The right to bear arms. Now the left has come out and say they want the 2nd amendment repealed. Even a retired justice of the Supreme Court holds such opinion. In the past, they always hide behind the fact that all they are after is to have a reasonable gun control legislation. They want to protect our children. Now we know. They think guns are immoral and obsolete. They think our Constitution is outdated.

With the passage of the ACA in 2010, the problem with our healthcare system has been growing. The cost has not gone down as promised. In fact, most health exchanges are going out of business. Now, democrats are openly discussing a single payer system as the final solution. No more beating around the bush. President Obama said in a speech many years ago that the ACA is just a stepping stone.

The latest Green New Deal proposal by the democrats exposed what they really think. They really want to get rid of all fossil fuel by 2030. As crazy as that sounds, no less than 70 democrats have sign up to support this new sweeping initiative.

Socialism is now mainstream. After years of the left academia brain washing our kids, they have convinced millennials that Socialism is a better alternative to Capitalism.

Karl Marx must be smiling from his grave.

With all these programs, the left have openly called for taxing the rich to pay for them. They are pushing the idea of a maximum tax rate of 70% of income above $10 million.

Along with a huge tax hike, they are floating the idea of debt does not matter. We can just print more money.

The left has gone overboard with the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh. They are willing to throw away our long standing justice system to block one appointment. They now believe a person is guilty until proven innocent.

The latest Virginia governor scandal is just one of many of late. It seems some democrats are behaving like the racist they accuse others of behaving. It is ironic how the party of slavery is now the champion of the down trodden.

After the famous Roe vs. Wade decision by the Supreme Court in 1973, abortion was made legal. Ever since then, we had this debate in this country about when life begins. The abortion issue comes down to when you believe life begins. It ranges from conception all the way to birth.

Recently, NY and Virginia are two states that proposed legislation to allow for late term abortion. This was never the intent of the original Supreme Court decision. Abortion was suppose to be a rare event and used as a last resort. Yet, over the years, Planned Parenthood had expanded its reach and now aborts over 1 million fetus a year, with government funding. Again, this was never the intent of Roe Vs. Wade. The left and feminist have pushed this window each year. Now, we essentially have abortion on demand. It is used as a form of contraception, and they want the American tax payer to foot the bill.

Now we see what the left is really about. They don’t value human life, they don’t value God and religion, and they certainly don’t value the uniqueness of women.

One side benefit of a Trump administration is the unmasking of the progressive left. By challenging them on a host of issues, they are forced to reveal themselves for who they are and what they really believe.

With TDS, they don’t even realize what is happening. It is fascinating to withness the self destruction of the left.
