With all the tracking devices developed today, do you find our rights being violated?

Big Brother can watch us through our cell phones, onstar and activity on the internet.  At some point this seems like communism and our rights are being whittled away.  Cameras are everywhere now.  Have we lost our rights to privacy?

Better to call it authoritarianism or statism, and it certainly is real. It's not limited to tracking devices, either. Warrantless access by authorities to your bank account information, telephone calls, credit card transactions, utilities usage, and every other recorded aspect of your life has long since erased many of the limits on government we are fond of thinking we still enjoy. The regulatory state, security state, welfare state and imperial state are now rolled all together into one superstate. Come to think of it, the best term for what we now have may be fascism.

I often wonder if America's forefathers are turning over in their grave!

I believe it's only a loss of privacy if we are aware that it is. The average American does not realize that these things are being monitored. Most everyone knows that camera are just about everywhere now days. I have often stated if someone wanted to they could follow my every move through town just by cameras. I know that using cell phones are not secure from being around the military for many years.

But look at the flip side if I was missing. I would want Big Brother to locate me.

Yeah I think what we are all getting incrementally conditioned for is a world wide police state. I used to try and hide all my information, only realizing that they can get your location no matter where you hide. I mean, have you seen the satellite images from space? Crazy. We all have bills to pay with our name and address on them. Facebook is just crazy. They even offer cash incentives if you trade in your old phone for a new android phone where all the apps have access to your personal information. Google, Youtube, and Facebook and a couple more sites updated their terms of service basically telling people their information is going straight to private and government sources. The best part is, the service they offer is free!!!
