   Know what will happen when  the Feds begin to  knock on OUR doors?
   
   , this administration is the most assaultive  administration ever against conservitism , and our constitution !   The second amendment  is under attack , the first ammendment , Are they about to begin a" book burning" campaign against lawful gun owners ? Do we go the streets ?

   Hopefully, more states will nullify any proposed gun bans, just as they've nullified that idiotic obamacare.
   
   County Sheriffs who honour their oaths of office are also a major positive - demand your community's sheriff department and police uphold their oaths, that bastard globalist whore Obama sure isn't going to honour his, he's made that ...he's been breaking his oaths since the day he took them.

   It has already started.  The 10th amendment to the Constitution allows each state to have their own laws over and above the federal laws.  The only problem with this is that the feds will refuse money to a state if they don't comply.  Most notable use of this technique was when the 55mph limit was put in place on the highways, the feds would withhold highway funding if states didn't comply.
   There is a great decay occurring in the country now and I have now heard of about four references to rioting or revolution over our inept government in the past few months, this is chilling to our way of life.   
   If you like any of your freedoms, then be prepared to fight to keep them.

   Sadly, you are talking to a public of which more than half believe that day will never come because such things as that do not happen in America.  At the same time, they have fear of an elected official attempting to circumvent or do away with Constitutional process in the name of expediency, urgency, tragedy, and dilemma.  Everthing the current administration does employs one of those factors as the basis of rationalization for moving quickly with consideration of the consequences....exercises designed to condition the public to move away from Constitutional discipline until finally the document has no place in our society.  Our education system had done a terrific job of breeding young minds for such antics as no real appreciation of our heritage as a nation and the constant vigilance which we must have to sustain it has been offered.  The whole thing is taken for granted with the assumption that any changes or deviations will have no consequence on individual freedom and liberty.  Such generations will be fully immersed in socialism and still not recognize the situation.  ~WB

      Wayne , what has happened is the young people are swept up in this thinking of change that is moving forward and to hell with the consequences. they believe that Obama will not lie to them .  The older generation has seenthis before. we remember.

   GW Bush walked on the constitution, this administration is wiping their collective butts with it.  Obama was elected on the platform he would give back the rights GW took via the patriot act.  Not only does he not repeal the PA, he adds to it, and the NDAA, plus because of the occupy wall street made it illegal to protest within 100 yards(?I think) of any elected official.
   The first amendment only applies if you toe the government line, now the 2nd is under fire.  And the American people still believe the government is here to help them.

   If we would hold Washington's Collective feet to the fire and make them adhere to the 10th Amendment and by default the other Amendments and their restraints on the rest of the Constitution, we could save the Republic. We as individuals need to be vigilant to educate those around us in our sphere of influence.

      Great! How are we going to do it? We have this little thing called a standing army in our way. These guys are out beating up a bunch of Muslims right now, but all Washington needs to do is snap their fingers and our nation's "heroes" will turn on us.

      We can hold thier feet to the fire ! And Sledgehammer ! There essentially is NO standing army , the national guard has done most of our offshore  actions !  I dissagreee our army would not turn on us , anymore than your neighbors would !

      Sledgehammer, I have to agree with ahorseback, none of our military would turn on their own relatives without great consequence, remember Kent State University.  Also, China tried this in the 70's and it totally backfired on them.

   I didn't see anyone getting this upset when the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 9th Amendments were stripped from us. It seems we gave up on legal defense and the 800 years of Common Law tradition so that we could go barbarous in our obsession with physical self-defense.

      I believe we should adhere to the entire Bill of Rights. The 10th is like the Lynch pin...when we gave that one up and allowed the federal government to grow in size and scope to become the beast it is, the other Amendments became easier to topple.

   I don't believe the government is trying to trample anyone's 2nd amendment rights.  The 2nd amendment gives you the right to bear arms, but it doesn't give you the right to bear arms with no regulation. The 2nd amendment does not say that you have the right to bear arms unconditionally.  It's a matter of interpretation of course - any 200 year old document has many interpretations.  However, I don't believe that enforcing background checks, banning assault weapons, or making it more difficult for known criminals to buy guys will "infringe" upon your personal right to bear arms.  You can still bear arms - just not the type designed only to kill people - and not at all times and all places.
