Save for FBI revelations about email, is Hillary becoming President NOW a foregone conclusion?
Hillary Clinton has had her time in front of the House Benghazi panel and, by all accounts, come out on top AND seemingly has put the email scandal behind her at the same time (until the FBI releases their findings, at least). Is it fair to say that 1) she is a shoo-in for the D nomination and 2) given the far-Right tilt of the Republican field, is the certain winner for President?
Based on the current polls, it's probable. However, it's a long way between now and June, when the last primaries are held. Anything can happen. After all, we were saying the same thing eight years ago, and look how that turned out!
Really, does the country need another Clinton as president? If this is the best candidate then we clearly need to change the system.
The democrats abandoned her in 2008, and Senator Obama chose an old white dude instead of the women. While they belittled the Republican VP female candidate.
If the Democrats didn't think that Hillary Clinton was not their choice for the Presidency, or even as VP in 2008, then why is she going to be their choice today?
BTW, we don't need any more Bush's or Obamas (Michelle) in the presidency either. These three have brought the country into further decline, and the country is not really in recovery, as most of the same conditions of 2007 are here.
Once again, anyone that thinks that either party has the solutions to move the country forward out of its continued decline is the problem. Because, US History for the last one hundred years will verify that neither party when in control did anything good for the country or its people. And the country will continue to decline as long as the country is separated by Blue and Red. The country needs to go to at least a shade of purple to move forward.
It is not one party blocking the great solutions of the other party, because neither party has the solutions. It took both parties to bring this country down, and it started in the 70s.
Congress is not a sports team, but that is the way that the loyal party voters treat it. If one party faults, that still doesn't change the result which is Congress failed the country, and the people.
Playing the blame game on the other party is not the same as resolving problems.
So, OC, you are claiming that America was moving forward, and by extension the Party in control did good things for the country and its people, until 1915 and then America has been in decline ever sense, never doing anything good?
I think it's clear that the GOP is not taking the presidential election of 2016 seriously. It'll be Clinton unless she falls ill (she's getting old). In the coming years, I think the GOP is content to be the party of opposition until it finds its new identity.
Are you kidding? Your question, by itself, is destructive. Hilary is constantly manipulative, controlling, and dishonest. Her leadership skills aren't there, despite how many idiots she convinces to follow her, because good leaders have good character.
Exactly how is the question "destructive" (other than the need to be inflammatory)? Are you telling me that Bernie Sanders ... Donald Trump ... Jeb Bush, and the rest of the group aren't "constantly manipulative, controlling, and dishonest"?
My Esoteric, so many people believe everything that is said of Hillary if it is negative. But, like the three people who admitted the Benghazi mess was trumped (no pun intended) up to bring her down, there are those who will believe every dirty thing that is said about her.
Like her husband, do you think that any woman would save a dirty dress unless she was hired to, for the sole purpose of proof. Just remember Monica went after him, not the other way around.
Susan McDougal went to jail when ken starr tried to get her to lie about President Clinton.
To answer your question. Nothing is certain and with so many of this countries enemy's attacking at every turn. Anything can happen.
I should have said Hillary's enemy's attacking at every turn and an enemy of Hillary is an enemy of our country, because their only interest is in destroying Hillary to make themselves look better. That means they know that Hillary is best.

Why are people so afraid of Trump becoming President?Do they think he might do good and make the country great again. The U.S. is no longer a world leader in much of any thing. Some countries call us a third world nation now. Others say the U.S. can not be trusted anymore.

Hillary has hinted and has been fundraising in the last month, which some say indicates she is preparing for another run at President Trump. Others say she's just trying to make it look like she's a candidate to keep the law off of her tail.Thoughts?
