I don't believe that people who eat healthy, and lead healthy lifestyles, should have to subsidize the healthcare costs of people who don't.
People who eat fast food, junk food, deep-fried fatty food, shouldn't be able to get the same healthcare for the same cost as people who try to take care of themselves.
Whether or not they "should" or not, they "do."
All they have to do is get a job with an employer with a group plan.
Then they get the same coverage as every other employee.
The insurers don't look at their (or anyone in their family's) pre-existing conditions, poor lifestyle choices or any of that.
My health plan's motto is "thrive."
Judging by the condition of people I see routinely in their waiting rooms, they're not fulfilling their brand promise very well.

Would support of Universal Healthcare increase if money wasn't an issue? My feeling is that many if not all the people of the Right would still be against Healthcare for everyone if it included the poor.
