The Obama administration has waged an attack on civil liberties. Americans can now not only be assassinated if the president desires, but also imprisoned indefinitely. All that must be proved is the individual in question was "somehow associated" with terrorists.
As depressing as this is, there is hope. The Justice Department is currently defending the right of people to film police officers in public, even during an arrest. This practice has increased with technology, and I think sunlight is a great disinfectant for those who may have otherwise abused their power.

John F. Kennedy was assassinated 50 years ago Nov 22 of 2013. I remember where I was and what I was doing that day. Are our lives different today because of this event?
