Supposedly, they are going to be testifying on what Ambassador Stevens was actually doing there in the first place, which was to buy back Stinger missiles that the state department had provided to AQ groups... and arranging to transfer those weapons to Syria.
Also, they are supposed to testify about the pressure put on Gen. Ham from higher up. Ham was the leader of Africom, the chain of command above him would be the secretary of Defense, then the POTUS.
A lot of supposition. What is the source of this information.
So, the first question that comes to my mind is this:
Had Ambassador Stevens not been tragically killed, would these whistleblowers
be outing his (presumed/assumed) real mission in Benghazi?
I'll just wait for the hearings.
Unfortunately, we don't treat(the royal we) whistleblowers very well... otherwise a lot more stuff could be stopped before it gets out of control. But that's ok... most transparent administration ever...
