That's a creepy question. Maybe because while a fetus it is a potential life form. Totally dependent upon the continued survival of one human being for its survival. Once born pretty much any person can ensure its continued existence. I suppose that ability to transfer responsibility creates a scenario where more than one person can reasonably have an opinion on its outcome.
