FBI: Homicide rates were considerably higher in the United States during the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, but over the past 25 years, have fallen nearly continuously:

Why am I surprised? I was thinking that homicide rates were way high, and I just bet there are many more Americans that might feel they are being misled by media narratives, anti-gun activist's propaganda and politician's.
Geeze, I should have known better with gun sales at all-time highs for the past few years...its saving lives as gun sales increase. That tickles me happy. Thank you, FBI.
Of course , there has been a diminishing rate in violent crime according to FBI statistics , except they are changing to more violent , gang and terror related crimes . Obviously mass gun shooting may be increasing . It speaks volumes to the gun debate though don't you think ? Like why now , when crime IS dropping , but yet they want to restrict more and more ?
It's ideological ! If you aren't informed or a gun owner , then" take them all !" That is why gun owners are angry !
Anti-terrorist intelligence says they expect more terrorist attacks in the US at an increasing rate.
Yes, it does speak volumes. There are many members of the FBI, with good guys and bad guys, and with secret societies in side of secret societies. I'm pulling for the good guys to take down the bad guys in the FBI. Sounds funny to even say something like, but that's how it is with people in positions of power.
The left just doesn't get it , Believe me, The FBI , DHLS , the Border Patrol , they are partially indoctrinated now by Obama's - socialist -extreme liberal ideologies , just like the 150 federal Judges he has appointed . In this sense we need the balancing reversal of a Trump presidency .
It will take a president like Trump to go in, or appoint people to clear the corruption out of the FBI and CIA on down the line and he would. There are plenty of very smart, trustworthy people he can tap into, and already has, to clean up the mess.
Fire arm deaths, I wonder how much they fudge those numbers like so many other stats. I guess they don't count triple the suicide death rates. Or shooting more the people you know death than the criminal death rates. Or the Government authority killing more people than all the public firearm deaths combined. Where people actually paid half their money overall to vote and hire these authority killers to kill other people (who are equal to them) for what they don't personally like.
What an insane world, kinda like public enemies number one reefer madness yet on steroids. If you think the violence in the 70s and 80s were that bad. What till all these guns get unleashed when people are starving from the dollar collapse. Marshal law will come in when most of the killing has been done. Then they will blame it all On other countries because They won't give in to these bullies anymore. Then the stupid public will give everything they have or don't have to go after these other countries.
South America fells wonderful during Nazis in springtime
It is an insane when loonatics are running the asylum and you can't believe anything the pathological liars are say. All the politically correct nonsense doesn't help either.
The former director of the CIA and the NSA, retired Gen. Michael Hayden, has said that political correctness has become a significant hindrance when it comes to countering the threat of Muslim extremism.
In other words it can get more people killed.
It is extreme how America hires Muslims to fight ISSI wars
That speaks volumes doesn't it. Get this! Yesterday, the House rejected two GOP proposals to prevent the Obama administration from enlisting young illegal immigrants to serve in the US military. Does that sound like America has been hijacked?

The real agenda behind Obama!
I listen to quite a few Europeans on political issues. It was rather surprising to see several of them state "Americans, don't give up your guns" despite being on the left: https://twitter.com/sargon_of_akkad/sta … 0752854016
It's a no brainer for me to leave North America.
America has some of the last original/civil / private / political liberties in the world . They mostly envy America , except those as above ,ex-citizens above who envy those who are patriots .
I'm very grateful for what America has given me. I want to give back. Yet now a plague of spoil selfishness and greed has process America. For me it's now the world's most needed ground zero to avoid.
No avoiding it's self dark empire destruction. After the US reset from the greed illness, then it will be the place you ought to be.
I'm believing that the nation will be recalibrated.
God is able.
It is a pleasure.
"I think.the Zionist are baiting the American Christian with revelation self prophesy."
I think it is the Globalist Luciferians.
"It is much easier to kill children if they convinc their people the other side are demon without any real proof."
That is the sad truth. How can anyone demonize a baby? It has become a brainwashed death culture.
Colorful At lease you seem to care.
Something of very serious karma is going happen to a America for this, I feel it in my gut.
To believe in karma one must believe in reincarnation. That line of teaching does not line up with Scriptures so I personally do not embrace it. I believe in the law of sowing and reaping in this life, that we only die once and that there is one judgement after death. I like the saying, "What goes around, comes around." ... maybe that is what you mean?
Then, there is always the God factor, forgiveness, grace and mercy.
Too many God definitions for me to understand. Karma and what goes around are close enough to understand.
I wound not intentionly take my karma and run over your Dogma, that is for the natural Universe to decide.. Yet many times I've seen Dogma run over Karma and both another kind of Dogma. I think they call them Holly Wars.
I had to laugh at myself because of what you wrote. Yeah, its kind of like this...your brainwashing is different than mine. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to run over dogma...I was just stating what I choose to believe. Like the saying goes, "If we don't stand for something we will fall for anything."
You could be right, but I think I am right too. How could two rights be wrong?
As long as your being honest and not harming or supporting harming. I say, what ever works for you.
I except religion although many do not except me for no good reason.
Something that is bothering me since the Orlando shooting, is the lack of evidence after what happened. Wouldn't you think that if a hundred some people got shot and half of them got killed, that there would be evidence everywhere...videos, that there would be reports showing many, many ambulances at the scene, interviews with police and witnesses, and so much more. The media rushed to the hospital and they all interview one guy named Angel or something, just that one guy. As soon as the story broke, the government tells us what happened before an investigation, and soon the investigation is shut down, including an investigation of the mosque the shooter attended.
And, MSM investigative journalists don't question the narrative? Really! Oh, and everyone is satisfied with what the government said, its just like Sandy Hook all over again.
I think the one important thing missing here is everyone's skepticism of the government.
I was in Silver springs Florida waiting in line for a safari ride. A big wind blew over a big tree that killed 4 people. In the news they reported only minor injuries. I Never believed the news after that.
That is how it is all too often. There are news outlets that are trustworthy, but many are being limited by political correctness, and Google and MSN are controlling individual's internet searches. Our First Amendment rights are being eroded because of PC. I'm really sickened of all the propaganda as well. - Thank you!
It's much easier to kill Muslims if they can convince everyone they are demons without any honest proof

George Zimmerman was arrested after a domestic altercation. Allegedly, he threatened his wife and father-in-law with a gun. His wife filed divorce papers a few days ago.Is this going to prove (not legally of course) that he was indeed guilty of Trayvon's murder? Is this other example to why gun...

I do not have a huge bias concerning gun control. To me, it's a bit like taking birth control pills, or being a vegetarian... it's up to you. However, I found these stats to be really surprising and I hadn't seen them before. I hope it wont start an ugly debate, but at the very least, the facts are...

I am curious about what the public thinks about militarized police. As a police chaplain I hear mainly one side of the discussion. I would like to hear some general perceptions of police officers and police tactics. Most of the police officers I know are decent people. There...

Given that:1. The US has a very high homicide rate.2. It is possible that killers that can't find a gun will use a different method.3. Some other countries, with low gun ownership rates, have a lower gun homicide rate but a much higher murder rate using other methods.4. If...
