3 reasons why Donald Trump does not want voters to listen to the song, “The President” by Wit.

We all know the song, “The President” by the artist Wit. It is just a rock song about a young boy’s desire to become the President. But when you take deeper look of the lyrics of The President you can see the distinct idealogical roll the President should play as a public servant. This is why Donald Trump does not want you to listen to the song.

The defender of human rights. In Trumps own words he points out the difference in people, whether it be their ethnicity or religion, and labels them all as bad or criminal. His solution is to take away the human dignity and rights.

I will speak for freedom I’ll help the weak and fallen. Trump sees the world as a dog eat dog world and the biggest dog get the food. Trump’s history of what he has done has been for self serving benefits. He is not a philanthropist and never will be.

I wanna be the savior of woman and man. Trumps comments of women shows his views of women is more of an accessory rather than an equal. He rates their value on their beauty and not their achievements.

Here are the lyrics to, “The President” by Wit.

    I do solemnly swear
    That I will faithfully execute
The office of President of the United States
And I will to the best of my ability
Preserve, protect and defend the Constitution
    Of the United States

I want to be the President
Of the republic for which it stands
    I wanna be the savior
    Of woman and man
I want to be the President
    and represent the common
    I will speak for freedom
I’ll help the weak and fallen

I want to be the President
    Divine gift of democracy
    I will declare my oath
    And follow it with tenacity
I want to be the President
And become the leader of all
    I will save this world
    I will catch its fall

When I was a young boy I was told
All My dreams could be realized.
    I had a wish
    I had a dream

That one day I would become the king
    I’m gonna be the President
And become the king of kings
    I’ll protect lady liberty
So she may spread her wings
    I’m gonna be the President
    the defender of human rights
    To war with me
    Is to war with humanity

    I will be the President
    One with just and cause
    I’ll sacrifice my life
    To Protect one and all
    I will be the President
    If I must, I’ll stand-alone.
    For the greater good
    May God bless this throne

When I was a young boy I was told
All My dreams would Come true.
    I had a wish
    I had a dream
That one day I would become the king
