Janet Yellen's term is up in Feb. 2018. Who should Trump pick as the next chairman?
It is no secret that the low interest rate set by the Fed. over the past 10 years has led to the growth of the stock market.
The rise was partly due to the shift in investment strategy by people with savings in their 401k and IRAs. When the interest rate by banks are less than 1%, it is an easy decision to invest in the market.
Another reason for the low rate by the fed. is to fund the deficit spending by our government. We have racked up the debt to 20 trillion dolars. If the interest rate was at traditional rate of 4-5 percent, our service of the debt will be drastically increased...
In a way, the Fed. has created a bubble in the market.
Now it is time to pay the piper...or continue the pumping...?

It looks like they are going to continue pumping at this point. Bonds have stabilized because the Fed put a little money there.  I would rather pay the piper now rather then later, but the Fed has a history of cold feet.

It a good time to take advantage of the market, people are raking in the duo.  If you like that sort of thing. The stock market is amazing.

Yes I know. I have made 14% return so far this year, better than past 8 years.
I know this won't continue and all is waiting for the bubble to collapse. I do implement some hedging to protect my investment. Checkout my hub on how to do it...

If the orange POS stays with his pattern on filling in top cabinet positions, he will surely choose someone who is a serious religitard that doesn't know what the Federal Reserve is.

He chose Powell to be the new Chairman of the Fed. I guess it is going to be the same policies as Janet Yellen. They are two peas in a pod.

I don't know why Trump picked Powell, maybe its because he wants the Fed to go down with the ship.  Yellen printed a whole lot of money, and Powell will do the same.  They have to follow the FR's Road To Roota theory until the system implodes while they soak as much out of the system that they can in unbacked fiat paper money.  The game plan is to return to the Golden Age. For now gold and silver prices will continue to be rigged, but hey, its at discounted sale prices.   Powell could implode right away, but I  am going to guess that won't happen till after the beginning of next year.

        Just saying.
