Earlier this year, Democrats demanded a Special Prosecutor be appointed to investigate possible election interference by Russia into the election. The DOJ followed through and through their investigation snared Paul Mannafort and several other low-level staffers. But that group also found that Tony Podesta and his lobbying company to be waist-deep in dealings with Russia. As part of that investigation, the Uranium One incident was also given new life and has been the subject of national news. Now there are demands that a Special Prosecutor be appointed to specifically investigate Uranium One. Seems like a worthy issue to understand, BUT suddenly Hillary Clinton is everywhere saying that this would be an abuse of power, claiming its a political witch hunt (ironically most people see the Mueller probe as exactly that as well.) The strangest part of the story is why Hillary Clinton is fighting so hard to stop any investigation, when Democrats have long said that she had no involvement and the $145 million donation into the Clinton Foundation immediately after the sale was coincidental.
From what I have been reading, Uranium One was a slink play by the Russians to extract the entire Obama Administration, by playing to the greed of Obama, Clinton and others. Then, when they fell for it, Putin went to Trump and said, 'Here, you get to hang these people.'
That would make Putin a seriously cool guy in helping take down the deep state.

That article is about 6-8 pages long and several links. Very interesting reading!
There are reportedly many sealed indictments. I believe a lot of bad players are going down, and thousands are going to be put on notice.
