Shouldn’t he be fired in the minimum or indicted for abuse of power? This story is just above believe. How can an agent of the federal government, use his power to subvert an investigati9n and attempt to affect the outcome of an election. There must be multiple crimes committed here... Why?

None of the various news sources I found concluded that he actually did anything - other than text.
I certainly agree that it looks bad. And I do think his perspective would taint his work, so it was the right move to remove him from the investigation... but " ... indicted for abuse of power?" That's seems a bit of a stretch.
