Why are Politics and Religion "taboo" topics of conversation?
These are important topics and need to be talked about openly.
Because everyone has their own opinion based on falseness or first hand experience / knowledge. Who wins: the person that read all the holy books and all the political know how books. Or the one that has had first hand experience seeing and viewing to know what is and what isn't by seeing, by witnessing the unfoldment(s) personally and has the experience to prove it.
They both come out losers in the end for fear rules out and confuses everyone.
Both are emotional subjects and cannot be discussed rationally with most people. However if you want a heated irrational argument, bring them up. Most people do not let the facts interfere with their opinions on either subject.
