Can Scott Brown win in Massachusetts?
Or does Martha Coakley have it in the bag?
I think it's possible because of a few reasons:
1) Typically low turnout in special elections
2) Republicans vote in higher percentages during special elections
3) Since there is so much anti-health care, anti-cap and trade, anti-socialism rhetoric, more Republicans will vote
Can you imagine if a Republican wins in MA? It would make world headlines.
Unfortunately, living in MA, the newspapers have been essentially silent. And if not, most every article about the election, while attempting to be non-biased, shows only a picture of Coakley.
If a Republican won, it would be such a breath of fresh air only because the Independents (me) and Republicans would actually feel as though their Presidential votes may actually matter. It would change the entire political landscape.
I believe Scott Brown can win in Massachusetts because of the hard economic times alot of people are having there. People voted for the Kennedy's no matter what and for the most part they did some good but it is time for change

FUCK. This year will be DISASTROUS for Dems, especially when we consider that Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd, a senior Democrat who is chairman of the Senate Banking Committee is not running for a sixth term.Web-site/URL: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_massachusetts_senate

*Public Domain*is it true and should cowardly complicit republicans agree to investigate the claims to find out? Of course they should but they probably won't, just like they've refused to live up to their oaths of office: In a normal, functioning American society which we are unfortunately light...

I think this is a smart move politically. A fair move for Blasey/Ford. And an honest effort to ensure a non-circus hearing.Democrats, of course, are blasting the move. Blaming the Republicans of hiding, (anonymously?), behind their written questions submitted to that outside counselor. What do you...
