Why do American News networks insist on hiring British and Australian broadcasters?
Do you really believe the BBC has Americans broadcasting the news in England or an American giving financial news in Sydney?
I've never seen a British or Australian newscaster since I've been living in the USA for the last 10 years. If there really is such a tendency then perhaps I should look into applying for such a position; I do need a job right now.
Maybe because all of the American broadcasters are either liberal or conservative. At least the British/Australian ones wont take sides
